About Kid Sense

Based in Adelaide, South Australia, Kid Sense Child Development is a private provider of specialist Paediatric services to children with developmental challenges in their movement, play & learning. Founded by Joanna Buttfield in 1998, Kid Sense operates from a purpose-built Child Development Centre at 90 Unley Road, Unley, South Australia, just 5 minutes South of Adelaide’s CBD.

Specialisation:
Working closely with parents, teachers and other medical & health professionals, our Paediatric Occupational Therapy team specialises in Sensory Integration and in the treatment of developmental delays in motor muscle functions.

Focus:
Our current Focus is in the area of Paediatric Occupational Therapy. Our future plan, however, is to offer parents & carers a 'one stop convenience'. This means expanding our services to include Paediatric Speech Pathology, Child Psychology, and Physiotherapy for kids under one roof and one quality management system.

Goal:
With our Unley Centre as our prototype, our Goal is to replicate and expand our business model, developing a portfolio of purpose-built Kid Sense Child Development Centres across Australia and New Zealand over the next number of years.
